About the Event
Hike Option #1 - Take a hike down an abandoned county highway to the scenic Pine Coulee Gorge; A location that has immense stories from those that made it their playground over the history of our community. Walk on into the open prairie where the evening sun hits just perfect. Traverse up the hillside past large oaks to return from behind Pine Glen Cemetery.
We will casually discuss the history of Pine Coulee; how it has come to be protected and open to the public, and what the future holds! We will talk about the overall Coulee River Trails Project how this organization is advocating and creating recreation opportunities.
Where: Gravel parking lot outside of Pine Glen Cemetery (Pine Coulee trailhead parking)
When: 6:30 PM - We will begin our walk at this time. Please RSVP so we can have an idea of how many we can expect!
