Try Out the New Winter Trails at Magee Park

Volunteer trail groomers have cleared and packed the trail for you to enjoy. Depending on the conditions, the trails can be suitable for various winter recreational uses.

The green trail offers wider trails with flatter terrain. Feel free to snowshoe, try out cross country skis, or even ride a fat-tired bike with appropriately tire pressure for the snow conditions.

The blue trail is more challenging with steep terrain and a scenic path through a red pine stand on top of the bluff.

As you enjoy the park, please be sensitive to the condition of the snow and help us keep the trail in good condition for winter use. For instance, please stay off the trail if it’s too warm out; hiking boots may “post hole” the groomed trail if the snow is too soft.

Maps and trail signage will be making an appearance at the park soon!
