What's Next? Goats!

You read that correctly. Goats are the next big thing at Magee Park!

Coulee River Trails is leading an effort to clear buckthorn from the new trail corridor in Magee Park. Buckthorn is everywhere at the park. So, we have enlisted the help of the best buckthorn warriors in nature.

These horned heroes will eat their way through 13 acres of the park to better manage nasty invasive tree. This is part of our mission to connect neighborhoods and conserve the unique habitat and history of the confluence region.

If you plan to visit and see these goats in their grazing glory, please leave your pets at home or keep them on a leash. And please stay back a safe distance from the electric fence. For more information about plans for Magee Park and the coulee corridor, see the official city page here.
