Thank You, WESTconsin Credit Union

Huge thanks to the volunteers from WESTconsin Credit Union and Coulee River Trails who spent yesterday’s federal holiday clearing a corridor along the new “Segment 3” trail.

In addition, WESTconsin Credit Union donated $10,000 toward the construction of an accessible trail that will be built within the next two years as part of a plan to connect Magee Park with the new subdivision at the corner of Walnut and Dexter streets (https://www.prescottwi.gov/m/NewsFlash/Home/Detail/265).

This is a critical part of the Coulee River Trails system that will connect Prescott neighborhoods on the north and south sides of the city through the scenic coulee forest. It is part of a new 23.9 acre parcel dedicated to the City of Prescott, WI as parkland through the developer’s agreement.

Walking and biking trails for people of all abilities will be constructed in the coming years. Additional fundraising and volunteer opportunities will be announced soon.
