The goat babies in the photo below were born at Magee Park last year. They’re back this year to battle buckthorn. The electric fence will keep them and 60 other goats focused on their work. They’re eating buckthorn in 13 acres of the park in an ongoing effort to fight the pernicious invasive tree that chokes out native plants.
We will be following up with our lesser human efforts after the goats have done their part.
